Using a Non-Standard Pipe Type in HydraCALC

A customer called today asking how to enter a 1″ black plastic underground pipe for the calc. This particular situation sounded unique enough that I did not tell him to add that pipe type to our database, as I would have if he expected to see this pipe type used repeatedly. I told him to…

And another thing…

Even been filling out an Info Sheet in HydraCALC and get to the part where it is asking for Flow Required and Pressure Required? Wish there was a quicker way to fill those in?

Infosheet
When at that page in the Info Sheet, pick the View pulldown and pick Calc Summary. This will open up the Calc Summary in Notepad.

You can then highlight  the Flow and copy and paste it to the proper field in the info sheet. Do the same with the Pressure, too.

I know it’s possible to have these fields filled in automatically for the ‘TEST’ node but, is it possible to pick where the info is taken (BOR, pump discharge, street, etc.). you may need to calc out to the street, but you may want/need another reading also.
    thanks,
